I am a mother of 2 boys. (20 and 23). I have over 21 years of Nanny experience. I served as a Nanny for 3 girls for a single employer for 10+ years. I helped raise the children from birth until the youngest was enrolled into first grade. Services included but not limited to: meal preparation cooking, laundry, car pool, homework assistance and extra curricular activities. Tasks performed with other employer’s include but not limited to: tummy time, light housekeeping, providing development age appropriate activities from the age of (newborn to present) reading and music, preparing healthy homemade meals and snacks. Weather permitting daily visits to the parks whereby I share photos and videos of us enjoying and exploring during our outdoor activities. I enjoy arts and crafts, cooking, painting, playing outside and building Legos. I am Certified in First-Aid and CPR. Fully vaccinated for Covid-19 as well as vaccinated for TBAP ( a common vaccination to prevent transmission of Whooping cough). I have both personally and professionally experience with child with ADHD, dyslexia, and food allergies. I also attend Northpoint Church where I have volunteered numerous times both in grading and serving.

I have been working with children my entire adult life — 6 years of babysitting, after-school programs, and nursery and daycare experience. As the art counselor for an after-school program, I had the joy of designing unique creative projects with little resources and watching kids light up being able to relax and express themselves freely — it remains one of my favorite roles to date. Over the past year on Sitter Tree I have worked primarily with infants and toddlers up to age 4. I am very familiar with newborn care including feeding, sleeping routines, and diaper changes. I have a deep passion for early literacy. What began as homework help grew into reading tutoring for Pre - K and Kindergarteners who had never been properly taught to read. This has been the most rewarding experience of my career to date.

I have also owned and operated a licensed Daycare business for those years. I do believe in teaching the children and meeting them where they are and safety comes first. Hello! My Name is Destiny and I am 24 years old! I love children and at one point in life, I wanted to have 6 of my own (I know!) While I have had to rethink that number, the wonder and messiness of learning, developing interests, and becoming their own person is my favorite thing about children. A collection of innate abilities and interests that pair with proper care, to form who they are and will become is fascinating to me and wholesome to watch and be apart of. I have experience babysitting children at a workout facility, summer camp, as well as experience teaching dance to children ages 7-18.
