I have been working with children my entire adult life — 6 years of babysitting, after-school programs, and nursery and daycare experience. As the art counselor for an after-school program, I had the joy of designing unique creative projects with little resources and watching kids light up being able to relax and express themselves freely — it remains one of my favorite roles to date. Over the past year on Sitter Tree I have worked primarily with infants and toddlers up to age 4. I am very familiar with newborn care including feeding, sleeping routines, and diaper changes. I have a deep passion for early literacy. What began as homework help grew into reading tutoring for Pre - K and Kindergarteners who had never been properly taught to read. This has been the most rewarding experience of my career to date.
