What are service fees?
At SitterTree, our mission is to simplify quality child care. We do this by providing an innovative and secure platform, offering industry-leading customer support, and building better tools. Service fees allow SitterTree to operate and continually make improvements based on the needs of our growing community.
Sitters (Service Providers)
SitterTree deducts an 11% Service Fee from all Sitter Fees paid to service providers through the SItterTree platform.
Sitters are the cornerstone of our business. Without their passion, hard work, and commitent to providing amazing child care, we wouldn't be here. We're here to provide ongoing support, pro tips and recommendations, and to help each sitter grow their business. These fees help us do that, along with facilitating SitterTree's customer support and important app maintenance and product improvements. At SitterTree, sitters can easily market their business and receive fast payments for the services they provide to their parent and group clients.
Parents & Groups (End Users)
End Users are charged a service fee every time they post a job to support SitterTree's operating costs, and cover state and local taxes, where applicable. It’s credited back to the End User's account should the booking be canceled by either the sitter or the End User. If the details of your booking changes, the fee will be updated accordingly.
Sitter Pass (for Families)
Service Fees are waived for Parent End Users with a valid Sitter Pass.
