St. Thomas' Episcopal Church in Rochester, NY is looking for two individuals to provide childcare for our Sunday School aged children (3-11 years old) and youth (12-17 years old) during a churchwide presentation on Sept. 27 from 11:00 am-2:00 pm. The number of children and youth will be communicated in advance. Responsibilities include monitoring children and youth at all times, ensuring their safety, providing supervision of activities, and helping them with snacks. We will provide you with snacks, games, craft supplies, books, etc. for the children. The youth members often have creative ideas to engage the younger children as well. Requirements: Caregivers must be 25 years old or older. The Episcopal Church requires all people who work with children and youth to complete Safe Church Training. The training is completed through online modules. Upon acceptance of this job, we will contact you about how to complete this training. Caregivers must be affirming of LGBTQ+ individuals and historically marginalized groups.
