How much does SitterTree cost for groups?

There is no cost to create an account on SitterTree. Set up your group profile, to browse child care providers and post jobs for free.

What are service fees?

Service fees are the fee you pay to SitterTree to use our platform to book and pay for child care services. Groups can pay on-demand service Fees or pre-pay to receive a discount.

Who sets the hourly rates for each job?

You set the hourly rate for each job you post. (Except in California, where child care providers set their rates.) After the job, pay your child care provider through SitterTree

Are there cancellation fees?

Child care providers set their cancellation policies. If you cancel a job after booking a child care provider, you will pay a cancellation fee to the child care provider through SitterTree based on their cancellation policy. You may view any child care providers cancellation policy in advance of booking your job.

What are Sitter Bucks and how do I purchase them?

Sitter Bucks are dollar-for-dollar credits used to pay your child care providers booked on SitterTree. SitterTree collects payments for each child care provider and securely transfers your payment to them after each job. Your Sitter Bucks are automatically applied to your next job payment to your child care provider. Many groups purchase Sitter Bucks using ACH bank transfer to save on processing fees.

How can I save on processing fees?

A 3.5% processing fee is added to all credit purchases, with the exception of cancellation fees. You can avoid processing fees by using ACH bank transfer for purchases.
