Life Fellowship Church is seeking caring, reliable, and engaging sitters to serve in our Nursery (6 weeks to 1 year olds) and Preschool (2 – 5 years old) classrooms during Sunday services. Sitters will help create a safe, loving, and fun environment where children can learn about God through age-appropriate activities. Responsibilities Follow the provided lesson plan and curriculum for the day. Engage with children through activities, play, and conversation. Teach the Bible story and help reinforce the day’s main point. Maintain the service schedule (approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes per service). Assist with check-in, snack time (if applicable), and clean-up. Work collaboratively with other classroom leaders. Provide attentive care, ensuring safety and well-being at all times. Schedule & Availability Must be available to work Sunday mornings. May be scheduled for multiple consecutive services. Break-time during or between service will be coordinated with the service captain. Qualifications Must be a Christian. Experience working with children ages 0–5 preferred. Help us create a safe, loving, and fun environment where children can learn about God while their moms connect and grow in faith. **Schedule & Commitment** We meet every other Tuesday. Shifts run from **9:40–11:10 AM**, including 20 minutes for preparation and welcoming children, one hour of programming, and approximately 10 minutes for cleanup after pickup. **Applicants must be able to commit to all seven dates in 2026:** * September 8 and 22 * October 6 and 20 * November 3 and 17 * December 1 We’re looking for consistent sitters who can build relationships with the children and serve alongside our team throughout the semester. **Responsibilities** * Arrive at **9:40 AM** to prepare the room and welcome children. * Follow the provided lesson plan and classroom schedule during **10–11 AM programming**. * Engage children through age-appropriate activities, play, and conversation. * Share the Bible story and reinforce the day’s main point. * Provide attentive care for babies and younger children. * Assist with check-in, snacks, and pickup. * Clean up and reset the room after pickup, allowing approximately **10 minutes**, with shifts ending around **11:10 AM**. * Work collaboratively with other classroom leaders. * Prioritize children’s safety and well-being at all times. **Qualifications** * Must be a Christian and comfortable teaching children about God. * Experience caring for babies, toddlers, or preschoolers preferred. * Patient, dependable, caring, and engaging. * Able to follow a provided curriculum and lead small group activities. * Available for **all seven dates and the full shift each morning**.
