Child care provider needed for a Church located in Birmingham on Sun, August 2, 2026 from 9:00 AM - 12:15 PM.

You will be working in a church nursery with other staff and volunteers. If this is your first time with us please come at 8:30 so we can orient you. If you have worked with us before you are welcome to come at 8;45. We look forward to working with you.

Pelham Church of God is hiring dependable, nurturing caregivers to serve in our church nursery. You’ll care for infants through preschoolers in a clean, fun, and faith-filled environment while parents attend service. Job Duties: • Care for children (infants–preschool) during Sunday services • Lead simple games, songs, and playtime • Keep the nursery clean, safe, and welcoming • Greet parents and follow secure check-in/out • Report any incidents using a quick form • Clean and reset space(s) according to a checklist Requirements: • Must be 18+ and pass a background check • Experience with young children (nursery, daycare, babysitting) • Friendly, patient, and dependable • CPR/First Aid preferred (or willing to get certified) Make a difference for families—one Sunday at a time.
