Position Overview- As a Nursery Child Care Provider, you will help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for young children while their parents or caregivers participate in church activities. Weekly Responsibilities- You will serve in our nursery caring for children ages 0–4. Your responsibilities will include: *Supervising children as they are dropped off and picked up. *Monitoring children to ensure their safety and well-being. *Engaging children in age-appropriate activities throughout your time in the nursery. *Assisting with basic needs, such as diaper changes or helping a child use the bathroom, when needed. A second adult or teen will always be present in the room with you. The number of children will vary based on weekly attendance and may range from 1–10 children, with most shifts typically falling somewhere in the middle. Occasional Responsibilities- In addition to your regular nursery responsibilities, you may occasionally be asked to provide child care for evening groups or special church events. This may include: *Providing child care for 6–8 week Life Group sessions. *Caring for children during church events, such as a Christmas party, voters’ meeting, or volunteer training session. These opportunities will vary throughout the year based on the needs of our church and the groups we serve.
