Job description

**Our entire session is outdoors** -Serve the students as a member of the educator team -Model a sense of awe and wonder of the natural world -Maintain an emotionally safe, positive, equitable, inclusive, and constructive work environment conducive to productive teamwork and community among all staff and students -Provide, protect, and facilitate play and self-directed learning -Follow the lead of the children as they play in and explore nature -Communicate professionally with parents/caregiver -Be able to receive direct feedback in the moment from peers -Follow the lead of the experienced staff and assist them -Interact with children appropriately but do not play with the children. We are more observers than a typical “teacher” as per a traditional daycare or school setting would be. -We are a self-directed program and follow the lead of the child. We protect their play with each other without interfering.
