Job description

We are seeking a dependable and flexible part-time Childcare Helper to support our Sunday morning children’s ministry during the summer months. It may lead to long-term in the fall. This is a floating role that provides assistance across classrooms ranging from infants to age 10, stepping in where extra support is needed. Responsibilities include helping with classroom setup and cleanup, welcoming and receiving children as they arrive, assisting with playtime, snacks, and crafts, and supporting lead teachers and volunteers throughout the morning. At times, this role may involve providing additional care for a child with special needs. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a positive and patient demeanor, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and parents to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment.
