SPLASH is searching for a Preschool Assistant to work weekly in our children's ministry with our Preschool Children (ages 4-5 years). This position works alongside a SPLASH Volunteer who is a current member of Lake Baldwin Church. As a consistent figure in the classroom week-to-week, the Preschool Assistant supports SPLASH's value of creating a warm and welcoming environment. The Preschool Assistant is responsible for basic childcare functions including helping children walk to the classroom, supervising bathroom trips, playing and facilitating games/activities/crafts, supervising a safe dismissal to parents, etc. The Preschool Assistant is not responsible for preparing and delivering the lesson - this falls to the SPLASH Volunteer (LBC Member). This role has the potential to grow into a long-term role after an initial 90 day trial run if there is a good fit.
