Afterschool sitter for two great kids — guaranteed hours, flexible family! We’re looking for a reliable, fun afterschool sitter for our rising 2nd and 4th graders. The gig: meet them at the bus stop, then spend the afternoon together until our workdays wrap up. Think homework help, playdates, simple dinner prep for the kids, and keeping the afternoon fun and low-stress. Once in a while you’d drive to an afterschool therapy appointment (OT), and we pay mileage on top of your hourly rate for any driving. Our 4th grader is autistic — he’s bright, verbal, and funny, and does best with someone who’s patient, flexible, and comfortable rolling with his lead. Experience with neurodivergent kids is a plus but not required; the right personality matters more to us. What we offer: guaranteed 16–20 hours/week, consistent weekday afternoons, and parents who work from home on occasion but stay out of your hair. We know good sitters have options, so we’re happy to be flexible on the exact schedule and work out something that fits your life too.
