Seeking Long-Term Before & After School Caregiver for 7-Year-Old (ADHD & Autism) Hello! I'm looking for a dependable, compassionate, and patient caregiver to provide long-term before- and after-school care for my 7-year-old son, who has ADHD and autism. Schedule: • Monday–Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. • Monday–Thursday: 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. • Friday: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. This position averages 24–30 hours per week, with occasional schedule adjustments based on school or work needs. Responsibilities include: • Helping with the morning routine and getting my son ready for school. • Transporting him safely to and from school. • Providing after-school care until I return from work. • Supporting a structured, positive, and engaging environment. My home is located in Jonesboro, GA, and my son's school is located on Candler Road in Decatur, so reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record are required. Preferred Qualifications: • CPR and First Aid certified. • Experience working with children with autism and/or ADHD. • Certifications related to autism, behavior support, or special education are a plus, but not required. • College students studying Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related fields are encouraged to apply. • Parents or family members with personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities are also welcome.
