Job description

We are seeking a warm, reliable, and nurturing Church Nursery Worker to provide safe, loving care for our infants and toddlers (ages birth to 4 years old) during Sunday worship services. The ideal candidate loves children, values family ministry, and maintains a clean, secure environment where our youngest members can thrive. - Greet parents and children warmly, ensuring accurate check-in and check-out procedures using our secure tag system. -Supervise, play with, and actively engage children through age-appropriate stories, songs, and games. - Attend to the physical needs of children, including bottle-feeding, snack time, diaper changes, and comforting distressed children. - Follow all church health, hygiene (frequent handwashing), and safety guidelines. - Adhere strictly to the church’s child protection/Safe Sanctuaries policies. - Clean and sanitize toys, room surfaces, and equipment at the end of each shift. - Arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time and remain until all children are safely signed out by an authorized parent or guardian.
