Nursery Care Assistant Schedule: Sunday mornings, 9:00–11:00 a.m. Pay: $25/hour Ages: Infants through age 4 Overview We are looking for a warm, attentive caregiver to staff our church nursery during Sunday morning worship. This role provides a safe, nurturing space for our youngest members (and their families) so parents can worship with peace of mind. Responsibilities Supervise and care for children ages 0–4 during the 9:00–11:00 a.m. service window Greet families warmly at drop-off and check-in Engage children in age-appropriate play, songs, and quiet activities Handle basic needs, comfort children as needed, communicate with parents if child needs a diaper change Maintain a clean, safe nursery space; follow all safety and sanitation protocols Communicate with parents at pick-up about how their child's morning went Report any incidents, injuries, or concerns to parish staff promptly Qualifications Experience caring for infants and young children (professional or extensive personal experience) Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain Child abuse prevention training or willingness to obtain Comfortable with typical infant and toddler behavior Warm, patient, and reliable Successful background check required
