I have worked with children for the past 6–7 years in a variety of settings including babysitting, after-school programs, co-leading a 2s classroom, leading a 3–4s classroom, and serving in children’s ministry at my church where I have also helped develop Bible curriculum. I am currently attending OCC to continue my studies in Early Childhood Education and hope to transfer to California State University, Fullerton to pursue my bachelor’s degree with a focus in Human Development and ESL. I have grown up babysitting my 2 younger sisters and taking care of my 9 younger cousins, as well as babysitting for families in my neighborhood and church. I recently worked as a Program Leader for elementary and middle schools where I was in charge of groups of up to 15 children for their after school daycare and lessons. I also volunteered at a pediatric physical therapy clinic where I interacted with young children and helped them get through their appointments.
