We’re a women-owned and operated app committed to helping parents, preschools, and religious organizations find child care when they need it most. What started as a babysitter’s club in Atlanta has grown into a trusted network across the nation. But what hasn’t changed are the neighborly values SitterTree was founded on—because we believe truly great child care is rooted in community.

Beth
Hi there! I am a mom of 2 grown kiddos, 25 and 21. I have lived in Virginia Beach for most of my life. I have over 35 years of childcare experience including 6 full time summers, 4 years of teaching at a local day care, and years of working in my church nursery. In college, I majored in Psychology and Early Childhood Education. I have been trained in CPR for over 30 years and I was a certified CPR & 1st Aid Instructor for over 6 years. I have worked with multiples in the past as well as children with ADD/ADHD, Autism, Down Syndrome. Also, my son has had asthma, allergies, mild ADD, and Tourette's Syndrome and has had respiratory problems since he was 6 weeks old so I am well versed in dealing with a variety of issues. I am available on weeknights after 4:30pm and weekends. I am open to occasional overnight care at your home. I am a Virginia Beach school employee so when school is closed, I am usually available as well.

Gwendolyn
My name is Gwendolyn Brown but I only go by Gi or Gigi. I am 26 years old and have been working with kids all my life. I worked in my church nursery and children's church at the age of 13 and currently I work at an autism center as an RBT. Also, I am in school getting my Doctorate for PT because in the future my hearts desire is to work with children as a pediatric physical therapist.

Janice
Hi! My name is Janice, and I am a responsible, compassionate, trustworthy, and energetic caregiver currently studying Biology Pre-Med at Hampton University with aspirations of becoming a pediatric dentist. I have always had a passion for working with children and creating positive environments where they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. My experience with children began in high school and has continued through volunteering at my church, where I assist with children’s church, arts and crafts, holiday parties, and Vacation Bible School activities. Through these experiences, I have learned the importance of patience, communication, creativity, and leadership when caring for kids of all ages. I love helping children learn, grow, and gain confidence while making sure they are having fun in a safe and caring environment. I enjoy creating engaging activities, encouraging creativity, and being someone children can feel comfortable around. Families can count on me to be dependable, attentive, and positive while providing quality care for their children. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends, watching television, and exploring new opportunities for personal and professional growth. One thing to know about me is that I am always open to learning new things and bringing positive energy wherever I go. I am looking for a babysitting opportunity with a welcoming family and a flexible, positive environment where I can continue doing what I love caring for and supporting children.

Rachel
Hi! My name is Rachel. I have decades of experience working at day care centers and school programs. I have current CPR certification and SIDS certification.
