Hello, I live in the Tampa Bay area . I am a substitute teacher at a High School in Riverview, Florida. My husband and I along with our furry family came to Florida from Boston. I had worked in an Alternative High School for students with Mental health struggles for 15 years. In my free time I love music, art and the beach. I have 3 amazing Grandchildren that live in Boston. Our Grandson's are identical twins , and one sassy Granddaughter. I would be honored and blessed to meet your family. Thank you, Janice

Right after High School, I attended a Community College and major in Nursery Education. Earned enough credits to transfer to City College in Manhattan NY and major in Early Childhood Education. I work in a Day Care Center for twenty years. After the City life I moved to North Carolina and worked in a hospital, attending the children whose parents worked for the hospital. My experiences working with children has always been something I wanted to do at the age of five. After growing up in a Children’s Home, I knew I wanted to dedicate my services to children, as someone did for me. I have babysat for 7-12 months as a teenager, but focused in on two’s to six year olds. Enjoy doing Pre-K -Kindergarteners and after school programs. Younger children are my specialties and retail helped me get by when not working with children. I am retired now, but miss the activities and hearing children’s voices, reading and singing with them. I never had the pleasure of working with children in a church setting, but what a wonderful and blessed way to truly end not only my career but a lifetime dream of working in different settings with the most precious gift of all,CHILDREN.

I have 5 years of experience working in childcare and genuinely love creating fun, safe, and positive environments for kids. While I worked to earn my teaching license, I was a camp counselor for 4 summers, as well as in after-school daycare programs during the school year. I also spent 8 months nannying a child with special needs during the pandemic, which gave me valuable foundational childcare experience. I love having fun and am pretty go with the flow when it comes to what your kids enjoy doing. I understand how difficult it can be to find someone you trust to take care of your children, but I can confidently say that I’m an honest, dependable, and genuine caregiver. I want parents to feel comfortable with me in their homes, and their children to be excited to have me around.
