A basic third-party background check, including a social security trace, global watchlist search, sex offender search, and national criminal record check for all known aliases.
IDENTITY VERIFICATION

All sitters complete an identity verification to join SitterTree, with a verified government-issued ID and live selfie.
PREMIUM BACKGROUND CHECK
A third-party premium background check, including a social security trace, national criminal record check, and sex offender search for all known aliases in all counties where the individual has lived in the past seven years, where law permits.

Trained to recognize and prevent child sexual abuse through organizations like MinistrySafe, Darkness to Light, Safe Sanctuaries, VIRTUS, and more.
SUPER SITTER
Sitters who achieve the following milestones earn a Super Sitter badge.
- 4.95 minimum average rating
- 30+ total jobs completed, at least 10 in the last 12 months
- 50% of members add the sitter as a favorite
- 0 blocks in the last 12 months
- 1 or less last-minute cancellation in 6 months
