We’re looking for a warm, responsible, and kind person to help our busy family 3 days a week, from 2:00–6:00 PM. We’re a loving family with three children — a newborn, a 5-year-old, and a 7-year-old — and we’re looking for someone who can help keep our household running smoothly in the afternoons. The role would be a combination of household help and childcare, including: ✨ Folding and putting away laundry ✨ Light cleaning and general tidying ✨ Keeping the kids’ spaces and common areas in order ✨ Helping our 5- and 7-year-old with homework and afternoon routines ✨ Preparing simple meals/snacks and feeding the kids We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, proactive, warm, and genuinely enjoys being around children. Our children have some of their homework and schoolwork in Spanish, so being comfortable helping with Spanish homework would be wonderful. Be a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children from infants through 5th grade. Supervise a small group of children, generally no more than 15 children. We are seeking 2 sitters for this group but anticipate number of children to fluctuate depending on study attendance. Engage children in age-appropriate activities, play, crafts, games, or other activities as needed. Help maintain a clean and orderly childcare area. Attend to the basic needs of younger children, including feeding, diapering, and comforting infants and toddlers. Communicate appropriately with parents and church leadership regarding any needs or concerns.
