Recurring child care provider (Columbia, TN)

This is a ministry for Moms.
We hold a two-hour meeting every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from Sept. to May from 9:30am -11:30am. Here mothers of young children can come in and make friends with other women in a similar life stage as them. Often, this is the only break many of these moms get from parenting to have a little time for themselves. It is life-changing for many.
Our heart is to provide a space where moms can go to feel loved and seen and know that they are not alone in the challenges of motherhood, all while knowing their children are safe and being loved and cared for in the childcare rooms right next door.
All childcare is done in the same building as our meetings, so all moms are onsite at all times and available if needed. We also have a policy that if a child cries/screams for longer than 10 minutes, we bring the baby/toddler back to mom. We currently operate four rooms with two sitters per room. We have kiddos ranging from infants to 6 years old. Our four rooms include:
1. Nursery - Newborn - 1 year old.
2. Toddler - 1-2 years old
3. Young kid - 2-3 years old
4. Big kids - 3-6 years old
The number of kids varies per week based on attendance, but we have a childcare coordinator who will move kids to another room if needed.
We ask for sitters to come and introduce themselves to the moms and help them feel comfortable and confident with leaving their kiddo in our childcare, because for many of these moms, they are stay-at-home moms who are not used to leaving their kids. So, an energetic and enthusiastic hello to the moms can go a long way!
