Hello, my name is Joanna Gonzalez. I am currently a sophomore in college and am looking for a summer job. I heard about this job from an online website and thought it was perfect for me as I have experience will kinds ranging from newborns to high school kids. My first experience with kids was volunteering at a Sunday, faith formation church school. I taught kids about their faith for 3 year ranging from the of ages 4-12. I later took some time to watch 2 kids of ages 6 and 8 during my freshman year in college for approximately 6 months which demonstrated how delicate and patient one has to be when handing kids. I later got a job at the airport during my sophomore year of college, as well working with kids. I was trusted to export them and take care of them for long periods of time while their connecting flight was arriving. I have really liked working with kids and aspire to learn more.

Hello! I'm Sharon – a compassionate, dependable, and experienced childcare professional with over five years of hands-on experience working with children of all ages. I’ve served as a teacher assistant in a licensed private school, providing quality care and support for children ages two and up, including kindergarteners. For the past three years, I’ve also worked as a professional nanny, caring for children from as young as three months to thirteen years old. My experience spans infants, toddlers, and school-aged children in both classroom and in-home settings. I have a strong background in supporting children with special needs, including those with allergies, autism spectrum disorder, and various health conditions. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I’m currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in Social Work and Public Health, after earning my bachelor’s degree in Christian Counseling. I bring an energetic, nurturing approach to childcare, and I love creating a fun, safe, and enriching environment that encourages learning and creativity. I use positive reinforcement techniques to support children’s emotional and behavioral growth and strive to build trusting relationships with families. My responsibilities have included school pick-up and drop-off, light housekeeping, household support, and preparing nutritious meals for children and families. Families I’ve worked with often describe me as reliable, thoughtful, and deeply caring. The most rewarding part of my work is watching children grow, learn, and thrive—knowing I’ve contributed to their development while providing parents with peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
