SitterTree has been a lifesaver for Peachtree Church. Every week I am met with incredible sitters who are competent, capable and who really enjoy what they are doing.
Knowing that SitterTree works tirelessly to support us as a church has made all the difference. I could not be more thankful to have SitterTree as part of our church team.

Peachtree Church
I lead the special needs ministry for a large church. We rely on weekly help from sitters we book on SitterTree. The app makes it easy to connect with sitters in our area who have experience working with children with disabilities. We now have several Favorites who we book consistently. SitterTree has been a wonderful resource for our ministry.

Alexis
I am currently in my 7th year of teaching— having taught middle school for 6 years, and now teaching high school English. I have been babysitting since high school and absolutely love children. Having moved to San Diego in July, I am looking for families to babysit for when needed.

Alexandra
Hi! My name is Alex, and I’ve always had a natural caregiving role as the oldest sibling in my family. From a young age, I helped raise my younger siblings — cooking meals, helping with homework, changing diapers, getting them ready for school, and picking them up after school. Being the oldest taught me responsibility, patience, and how to create a safe and supportive environment for kids of different ages. In addition to caring for my siblings, I’ve taken on babysitting jobs for families with multiple children. I’ve cared for three kids at a time, keeping them entertained with movies, games, and activities, as well as preparing snacks and making sure they felt comfortable and supervised. I’m used to managing a few hours at a time and making sure everything runs smoothly. I’ve also done house-sitting, where I maintained the home, cleaned, and cared for pets, including feeding and walking dogs. I’m dependable, calm, and organized, and I take pride in being someone families can trust with their home and their children

Deborah
Hi there! My name is Tosin. I have a solid background in childcare that started back in high school, where I did a lot of babysitting. Over the years, I’ve also worked with kids in various settings like Vacation Bible School (VBS) and assisting with children’s church on Sundays. Most recently, I’ve worked as a teaching assistant for children ranging from 3rd through 8th grade. I love working with kids of all ages and I’m excited to bring that experience to the table! In my free time I love reading, playing guitar, crocheting, hiking, coding, and many other hobbies😆

Molly
Hi! My name is Molly, and I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old. I grew up as a highly competitive gymnast and have also been coaching recreational gymnastics for children since I was 16. I am currently a freshman at SDSU studying Business Marketing, and I moved to San Diego from Boston in August. I am happy, positive, and love spending time with children while planning fun, engaging activities for them. When I am with kids I love to play games, do arts and crafts, help with homework and overall make sure they are having a great time. I have a very flexible schedule and will always prioritize your family’s needs. I’m excited for the opportunity to meet you and your kids!

Vixuuni
Hello! My name is Vixuuni, but feel free to call me Nini! I'm 25 years old and have experienced taking care of children for about 9 years now. My childcare career journey started from babysitting, transitioned into in-home caregiving, and finally led to working as an aide in elementary schools. Through those opportunities, I've been responsible for a range of children with different personalities and needs. I am AHA BLS certified (CPR and AED) and have past experience supervising children with moderate to severe disabilities. Thank you for checking out my profile, I hope to work with your family!

Maddy
I’m friendly and reliable and would primarily like to work with babies and toddlers. I have limited experience looking after toddlers with other people around, that’s why I put “none” for professional experience. I am low energy, and would love crafts, reading and supervising them while they play.

Jade
Hello family! My name is Jade and I have been in childcare for about 7 years. I am CPR/first aid certified. I have mostly worked in preschool, but have been a nanny and a babysitter. I've worked with infants to 5 years of age. I am so passionate about working with children and I aim to create a safe, fun, comfortable and trusting environment for all! I enjoy helping and watching the littles foster creativity, grow, complete milestones and become independent individuals! If you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out!:)

Alexsica
Hi! I’m Alexsica — a caring, patient, and dependable babysitter with hands-on experience caring for children of different ages. Safety, kindness, and communication are my top priorities. I love engaging kids in age-appropriate activities like reading, crafts, outdoor play, and calm routines. As a mom myself, I understand how important it is to have someone you can truly trust with your child.

Neil
Hi! I’m Neil, and I’ve been a substitute preschool teacher’s aide for 3 years, working in preschools throughout the county with children 6 weeks through 5 years. In just the past 18 months, I’ve worked 7 months specifically with infants and toddlers! Unlike some sitters, I’m male- and that’s a positive thing in a daddy and a grandpa; why should it be considered any differently in a sitter? I’m older, but that’s what experience looks like. With it comes mature judgement, no drama, and a fully developed sense of responsibility, characteristics you’ll want in a sitter. I began babysitting for friends and neighbors when I was 10, continuing through my teens and into college. I also nannied a 6 month old baby for a summer when I was 16, and taught a 2&3 year olds Sunday School class for a year. Later, I worked on an inpatient pediatric hospital ward with children from newborn to age 12. And for 29 years, I taught Sunday School or Children’s Church in our Baptist church for classes ranging from Kindergarten to 6th Grade. My wife and I have been married for 41 years. Together, we raised our four babies to adults, and often care for our four grandchildren as well. The oldest is 10, and the youngest is just 19 months old. I find that babies and small children warm to me quickly and feel safe when I’m with them or holding them. I think they sense the daddy and the grandpa in me. I’m a calm, quiet person, and that combined with a gentle reassuring voice puts them at ease. When they need a little extra, I’ll rock them, walk them, sing quietly to them- whatever it takes to comfort them. Two of my greatest priorities in childcare are nurturing an early love of reading and helping children to develop good character. I love reading to children, and I bring a special bag of books with me when I come. I make stories come alive, reading expressively and creating unique voices for each character! I’m up to date on my childhood vaccines and boosters to work in the schools. I don’t smoke, am comfortable with pets, and I have a reliable car and clear DMV records check. I’m Pediatric CPR and First Aid certified, and am a former Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN.) I’ve also completed 88 semester hours of college. I love my job as a preschool teacher’s aide, and hope to qualify as a preschool teacher myself in the near future. I look for home childcare opportunities when assignments from my school staffing agency slow down, and for extra earnings for special purposes. I would consider a long-term arrangement as well, should I find a family with whom I feel really well matched.
