Hi! My name is Dani, and I am a 20-year-old student at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, majoring in biology on the Pre-Med track. I currently am a Resident Assistant at the university as well. I began working at a daycare when I was 15, where I spent two years caring for children between the ages of 3 and 9. At 17, I began working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a hospital, which I am still doing today! In my senior year of high school, I volunteered to read to kindergarteners who were struggling with learning to read. Over the past year, I worked as a home-health care aide to try out individualized care, and add to my caregiving experience. I also have two younger siblings and have babysat for many families over the years. Outside of doing my schoolwork, I enjoy making art, spending time at local coffee shops, and playing volleyball!
