My name is Kristine and I just moved to Austin for a new job! Babysitting is something that comes naturally to me because I looked after kids for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Nigeria as the oldest child in my family, I was automatically in charge of taking care of all my cousins, the children of uncles and aunties as well as my own younger siblings. I spent my time in undergrad engaged in after school child care through the Jumpstart AmeriCorp program, while also babysitting and providing childcare at church. While getting my masters, I also took care of three lovely kids and their family dog! They loved when I would travel home to Nigeria for Christmas break and bring them some snacks and souvenirs. I love children. They are a burst of fresh air and curiosity and always keep me in my toes!
