Be a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children from infants through 5th grade. Supervise a small group of children, generally no more than 15 children. We are seeking 2 sitters for this group but anticipate number of children to fluctuate depending on study attendance. Engage children in age-appropriate activities, play, crafts, games, or other activities as needed. Help maintain a clean and orderly childcare area. Attend to the basic needs of younger children, including feeding, diapering, and comforting infants and toddlers. Communicate appropriately with parents and church leadership regarding any needs or concerns.

This job is for caring for our infants and 1 year olds during our church’s Wednesday night activities! It also involves sanitizing and picking up the nursery after all the sweet littles have been picked up :)

Job Responsibilities: - Monitor and ensure a safe environment for children. - Lead engaging and age-appropriate activities. - Work in harmony with event coordinators and other staff members and care givers. Qualifications: - Proven experience in childcare or related field. - A passion for working with children and a display of patience and understanding. - Ability to teach children and coordinate fun activities - CPR and First Aid certification preferred. The childcare shift will last for the duration of the conference each day, but rest assured that scheduled breaks will be provided to ensure your well-being during the event.
