Recurring child care provider (Bee Cave, TX)
Celebration Kids Sunday Childcare Assistant Role Overview We are looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable individual to join our Celebration Kids team on Sunday mornings. Your primary responsibility will be caring for children ages 2 and under, including babies and early walkers, by creating a safe, engaging, and loving environment where they are well cared for while their families attend church. While your main focus will be our nursery and toddler rooms, there may be occasions where you are asked to assist with older children as ministry needs require. Experience caring for babies, toddlers, and early walkers is essential. Responsibilities * Provide loving, attentive care for children ages 2 and under. * Engage with children through play, songs, reading, and age-appropriate activities rather than simply supervising them. * Comfort and care for babies and toddlers according to their individual needs. * Change diapers as needed while following our Kids Ministry procedures. * Ensure children are actively supervised at all times and are never left unattended. * Welcome parents and help create a warm, friendly environment as families arrive. * Assist with older age groups when needed. * Communicate any concerns, injuries, or incidents to the Kids Coordinator immediately. * Help create a safe, clean, and nurturing environment where children feel loved and cared for. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: * Has experience caring for babies, toddlers, and early walkers. * Loves spending time with young children and enjoys actively playing with them. * Is warm, patient, nurturing, and dependable. * Is comfortable getting on the floor to play, read books, sing songs, and interact with children throughout the morning. * Is attentive and safety-minded, always keeping children within sight and properly supervised. * Is punctual, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team. * Communicates well with parents and the Kids Coordinator. * Takes initiative to help wherever needed. Dress Code * Please arrive neatly dressed in clean, modest clothing. * Jeans or pants should not have holes or rips. * No shorts or crop tops/short shirts while serving in Kids Ministry. * You will be provided with a Celebration Kids T-shirt, which should be worn each Sunday so you are easily identifiable as part of our Kids team. This helps parents recognize our team members and supports a safe and secure environment. While Serving * Children should always be actively supervised and attended to. They should never be left alone in a classroom. * If you need to step out for a restroom break or for any reason, please notify the Kids Coordinator so another approved team member can supervise the children before you leave the room. * Cell phones should only be used for emergencies or ministry-related communication while serving. * Please model a positive, joyful, and encouraging attitude throughout the morning. End-of-Service Responsibilities At the end of each service, we ask that you help prepare the room for the following week by: * Wiping down all toys with disinfectant wipes or spray. * Tidying and resetting the classroom. * Returning toys and supplies to their designated places. Thank you for helping us create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where every child is loved and cared for while their families worship. Your joyful engagement, attention to safety, and commitment to excellence make a meaningful difference to the children and families we serve.

Child care provider (Austin, TX)
We are a newly planted Christian church seeking some support in childcare. We have a nursery, toddler room and a school age children’s room. We typically don’t have more than 10 kids between the school age and the toddler/nursery rooms. The role for this Sunday will be in the toddlers room. This role will include offering general supervision to any child 4 and under, playing with the children, offering and assisting with snacks and clean up, changing diapers, communicating any needs or concerns as needed. We are hopeful to hire someone who loves Jesus, has served in a church before, and has a heart for children. Thank you! We look forward to working with you.
