Hi, my name is Katelyn. I'm a 27 year old mom of two (4y and 1y). I've been helping care for children in my family since I was 10 years old. I have experience helping plan and teach preschool curriculum and graduated high school with a pathway to early childhood development. While I was in highschool I participated in an internship program at a local elementary school helping teach the math portion of their day. There I was in charge of planning and teaching many programs that ranged from STEM, sports, arts, life skills, field trips, and more for school aged children. As well as helping with homework. I also drove their van to help transport the kids from school to our building. Childcare has always been a passion of mine but I have recently stepped away to care for and homeschool my children. I am hoping this platform will give me a way to jump back into this work part time while also still following through with my homeschool goals.
