Hello I am Ms McDowell. I enjoy teaching children basic life skills and manners. My journey in childhood began at very young age at 10 years old. I enjoyed the opportunities of babysitting my younger cousins at 2 years old-10 and began to gain a larger responsibility to help raise my baby sister. Later in life during high school I started my career path in early childhood education which was 4 years long. I earned my CDA and began my work experience in childcare in 2002. My first job was at American Care Academy in Dallas, Tx I worked there about 2 years and changed my career path to retail for 10 years. 2012 is when I had another change of heart and picked up the Medical field working as a medical assistant in a pediatric clinic. 4 years later I found that my calling was working with children. I have been a substitute teacher since 2016 and current.
