Childcare Experience in Children's Ministry During my time in the children's ministry at New Direction , I gained valuable experience in childcare and youth development. My responsibilities included planning and leading engaging activities for children ages 4-12, fostering a safe and nurturing environment. I developed lesson plans that integrated fun, educational elements while promoting spiritual growth and moral values. I also facilitated small group discussions, helping children build relationships and enhancing their social skills. My role involved monitoring behavior and implementing positive discipline strategies, ensuring a respectful and supportive atmosphere. I have also worked at Primrose in the infant room with up to 20 babies. The youngest age I’ve worked with is 4 months!
