Hello, I am a graduate of The Westminster Schools and a dedicated student of Sociology and Psychology at Northeastern University. This semester, I am doing online learning at home in Atlanta and I am looking forward to providing childcare services for families. I have extensive experiences in child care that date back ten years. They include children ages three months to 16 years old and span geographically and culturally. Caring for children requires a caring heart, sound judgment, and energy; all of which constitute characteristics I possess. With my previous families, I prepared meals, tidied up, conducted their evening routines, and any other requests of the parents. I pride myself in my flexibility and adaptability. Dedicatedly, I give children 100% of my attention and engage in activities; such as outside play, reading, puzzles, crafts, and yoga. Introducing children to new activities and exploring their curiosities excites me! I also have substantial experience in assisting children on their educational journeys. I have eight years of experience guiding children in their academic pursuits. I was an elementary assistant at Odyssey Atlanta, an educational summer camp. Over the course of three years, I taught the same group of children and witnessed improvement in their academic performance and confidence in reading and math. For three years at Breakthrough Boston, I mentored and tutored two middle school girls after school. I helped them in all subjects of their studies. I am a fluent French speaker and it was particularly fulfilling for me to facilitate their amelioration in the language. As a learning assistant to your family, I would offer extra help in necessary subjects, create a productive environment, and hold your children to the highest standards, which is imperative during this time of virtual learning.
