I have always babysat for family and friends, but my first professional experience caring for the youth was previously working at HSHS St.John’s Hospital in the Pediatrics department. I perform personal and medical care for children in need. I worked in the float pool where I was crossed trained through all departments of the hospital, but Pediatrics was my most favorable department. After working at St.Johns Hospital, I worked for a daycare named Kids Academy working as a Teacher’s Assistant. In this role, I worked with toddlers (2 and 3 yr olds). Occasionally, I floated to Preschool. Working here, I was able to utilize my art skills to create gross motor and fine motor activities.
