I am a recent graduate of Howard University with a degree in Human Development, providing me with a strong foundation in child psychology, growth, and behavioral development. I have hands-on experience working with children across various age groups and needs. As a Camp Counselor, I worked with toddlers aged 5-7, creating a safe, engaging environment while leading activities that promoted social, cognitive, and physical development. As a Behavioral Specialist for the State of Connecticut, I supported neurodivergent children aged 12-18, implementing behavioral interventions, developing individualized strategies, and helping them build essential life skills in a structured setting. For the past seven years, I have worked as a freelance babysitter, caring for children aged 3-9. My responsibilities included meal preparation, homework assistance, bedtime routines, and fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored to each child’s unique needs. My education, combined with my extensive hands-on experience, has equipped me with the ability to support children's emotional, social, and cognitive growth while ensuring their well-being in various settings.
