Angelina

My name is Angelina, and I’m 22 years old and graduated from Georgia College & State University with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education! I will be teaching first grade in Cherokee County this upcoming school year. I bring over 7 years of childcare experience working with children ranging from newborns to 16 years old. Beyond that, I have spent the past two years deeply immersed in the classroom. I completed extensive student teaching placements in kindergarten, second grade, and fourth grade, where I planned and taught lessons, managed classroom routines, and supported students both in small groups and one-on-one settings. In addition, I designed and implemented individualized tutoring lessons focused on strengthening reading and writing skills, so I would love to support your child with any summer learning, enrichment, or preparation for the upcoming school year. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I prioritize creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for every child in my care. My background in education allows me to blend fun with intentional learning, whether that’s through hands-on activities, creative play, or reinforcing important academic and social skills. I also love working with animals! I have both a dog and a cat, so I’m very comfortable with pets.
