Jamariyae

Hello! My name is Jamariyae, and I am currently a junior at the University of Texas, majoring in Special education at the elementary school level. Taking care of people is something I love doing, which is why I chose to dedicate my life to helping others, especially children. I spend my free time volunteering at Mission Arlington in the after-school church program for the children. It is something I enjoy doing wholeheartedly and wish to commit to more often so I can gain more experience. While in this program, I help children with homework and basic tasks such as cleaning, reading, and playing outside. I enjoy taking on a positive leadership role so the children can look up to me as a good role model.
