I have experience working with children of various ages, from younger kids in after-school programs to teenagers in a high school setting. While working at GASP (Georgia After School Program), I supervised and supported up to 38 children at a time 5-11 ages, ensuring a safe and engaging environment. I created enrichment activities, helped with academic support, and maintained strong communication with both parents and staff to meet each child’s individual needs. In high school, I also served as a student aide, where I often supervised classrooms with students ages 15-18 when teachers were unavailable. These experiences taught me how to create structure, encourage social and emotional growth, and manage groups calmly.
