Hello! My name is Hung Dim and I’m currently a senior nursing student at Texas Christian University (TCU). Throughout my time in nursing school, I’ve developed a strong passion for providing compassionate care to individuals and families from all walks of life. Outside of the classroom and clinical settings, I’ve been actively involved in both my church and campus community. I’ve gained meaningful experience teaching and supporting children through my volunteer work in Sunday School, where I’ve helped lead lessons and engage with kids in a nurturing and faith-based environment. Additionally, I’ve been part of the Sitter Squad at TCU, a program that connects students with families in need of reliable child care. Through this initiative and other babysitting opportunities, I’ve cared for children of all ages—from infants to preteens—across diverse family backgrounds. These experiences have strengthened my communication, patience, and problem-solving skills, all of which I know will serve me well in my future career as a pediatric or family-centered nurse.
