Emily

Hello! My name is Emily, I’m from Duluth, Georgia, and I’ve been working in childcare, from in-home care to schools/childcare facilities, for the last 7 years. I’m experienced working with infants all the way to teens, and firmly believe that no matter the age every child deserves to be treated as an individual with compassion and patience. I am also CPR and First Aid Certified through the American Red Cross, and trained in caring for children with disabilities. I’m currently earning my degree in Studio Art, and I love sharing the creativity I use every day with the kids I care for. Caretaking is my passion, especially for infants and toddlers, and I love getting to nurture each child and their individual interests and personalities. Most of the children I work with regularly have developmental/learning disabilities, and I’m incredibly passionate about supporting kids who may struggle to be understood by others.
