Matthew

Hi! My name is Matthew. I work as a mental health therapist with kids from 6-months to 18-year-old. Previously, I worked at a pre-school in New York, while finishing my Master of Social Work. Before attending graduate school, I was an elementary school teacher, teaching both 5th Grade, as well as 3rd Grade. I have my teaching license, and my K-12 Gifted Education license. On top of teaching, I have worked with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, including a 1-year-old and her 3-year-old sister, as well as 3-year-old twins. Some of my responsibilities included doing school pick-ups, supervising play dates, preparing meals, taking kids to the library, and playground. I play sports, and love to swim as well. I won't just stick your child in front of the TV. I enjoy reading to children, as well as getting on the floor to play. I have my CPR and First Aid certification, including infant certification. I previously had my lifeguard certification, as well as my water safety instructor (WSI) certification. I have a driver's license, and a safe driving record too.
