Nora

Hi! My name is Nora Sheppard, and I’m an Education major at the University of North Texas. I’ve built up years of hands-on childcare experience through many different roles. In high school, I served as a student teacher at my middle school, where I helped guide and support students in the classroom. For three summers, I worked as a camp counselor at a Christian summer camp, where I supervised groups of children, led activities, and provided mentorship in a fun and faith-filled environment. I’ve also babysat for families and cared for my two nephews, giving me experience with children from toddlers to teens. Through these opportunities, I’ve grown in patience, leadership, and creativity, and I love building meaningful connections with kids. Whether it’s teaching, playing, or just making sure they feel safe and cared for, I’m passionate about creating a positive and encouraging environment for every child I work with.
