Kyla

Hello! My name is Kyla! I am a recent graduate of Schoolcraft College in Northville, Michigan. There I obtained a degree in Culinary Arts as well as a degree in Applied Science. Becoming a Chef has been a life-long goal of mine, inspired by my late-grandmother. I am currently a Junior at Howard University, majoring in Business Management, minoring in Psychology, with a concentration in Hospitality. I am very family oriented, coming from a large family myself. I am the eldest of seven siblings, consisting of four brothers and two sisters. My values are focused around traditions, integrity, and gratitude! I believe that children should start on the shoulder's of those who came before them, rather than everyone starting from the ground up. It is important to me to be a helping, guiding hand as well as an exceptional role model. I am a clear and efficient communicator who prioritizes collaboration and creative thinking while holding space for big emotions, individuality, and growth.
