Hi! I am a Freshman at Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua. I am currently in the Healthcare Studies Program and plan to earn an associates in nursing. Currently I work as the Nursery Coordinator at Downtown Presbyterian Church in Rochester, NY, where I watch and care for children during church service. I am also a teacher assistant at a daycare, Care-a-lot, where I watch children ages 0 to 11. As a teacher assistant I help care, feed, play, and teach children. I have been a volunteer counselor for 5 summers at Camp Smiles, a 4-week camp for children and adults with visual impairments and/or disabilities. My role as a nursery coordinator along and teacher assistant with experience from Camp Smiles instilled in me patience, understanding, flexibility, creativity, and skills necessary for working with administrator and team members.
