Hello! My name is William Powell, and I’m excited to introduce myself to the SitterTree community. I bring over 8 years of experience working with children across multiple grade levels, from Kindergarten through 8th grade. I currently serve as an Science Teacher and Coach, where I support students academically, socially, and behaviorally in a structured and nurturing environment. Throughout my career, I’ve taught a wide range of ages and abilities including students with special needs and I am trained in behavior management, classroom routines, safety protocols, and hands-on learning. My background in Special Education and my certifications, including CPR and CPI, allow me to create a calm, safe, and engaging environment for every child I work with. Families appreciate that I am patient, responsible, consistent, and able to build positive relationships quickly. I always strive to make children feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn or play. Whether helping with homework, creating fun activities, keeping children on their routines, or ensuring safe supervision, I pride myself on being dependable and communicative at all times. I look forward to supporting families and providing high-quality childcare through SitterTree!
