Hello, my name is Ciera Owens, and I am ecstatic to work with your family! I live in Atlanta, GA, and I attend Georgia State University. I’m on track to graduate in the spring of 2026 with my bachelor’s degree in education. I’ve taken the GACE (Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators) and am state-qualified. I’ve spent many years working with children, both privately and in daycare facilities, where I taught preschool and Pre-K. Over the past five years, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching children aged 3, 4, and 5, and I’ve also nannied for children ranging from newborns to 12 months and from 3 to 12 years old. I love encouraging children to reach their potential. Getting creative during story time, pretend play, and science experiments, and knowing that I’m a part of helping them reach developmental milestones is music to my heart. One of my favorite things to witness is a child’s imagination and creativity in action. Although they’re little humans, it’s important to me that they know they matter and that I’m excited and honored to be a part of your family, helping to build their confidence every step of the way. Here’s a little insight about me: I am a mother of two, with children aged 3 and 12. I love traveling with my family, trying new restaurants, and enjoying spa treatments and DIY experiences. I also love to read and attend women’s empowerment events, festivals, and anything related to self-care. My favorite music is gospel and ’90s R&B. I enjoy shopping at Target and spending time at the mall.
