Hi, I’m Kendall! I’m a 22-year-old college graduate that truly enjoys working with children. I have experience working at recreation centers (both during the school year and academic breaks), in which I’ve helped students with homework, led art classes and projects, orchestrated fun games and activities, gone on field trips, helped with food-related prep, and more. My love for being able to help and nurture those younger than me started when I became a big sister in 2009 and it’s continued to grow over the years. My first job at 15 was with Wade Walker YMCA during their youth summer camp, while in college, I worked as a summer band camp counselor for FAMU’s Marching 100, and since graduating, I’ve worked two summers and majority of the 2025 fall semester at Hamilton Recreation Center. I work quickly when it comes to minor injuries (i.e. bumps, bruises, scrapes) and I am currently obtaining my CPR and First Aid certifications, as I understand the importance of being knowledgeable in an emergency. These will be completed before my start date. I would love to become an asset to you and your family, accommodating wherever necessary and aiding in the growth and development of your child(ren).
