I am 54 years old and a mother of two adult children. I have been working in a nursing home for 4 years and, as a certified activities director, I dedicate myself to caring for and improving the lives of elderly residents every day. I am convinced that caring for and entertaining an elderly person is similar to caring for a child; the sensory activities are very much alike. For this reason, I would have no problem performing this job.
