Alyssa

Hi, My name is Alyssa Toney. I’ve been working with children for about 15 years, and I’ve been a Montessori teacher for the past 4 years. I really enjoy the Montessori approach because it allows me to promote independence in the classroom. I also have experience with Reggio and have worked as a nanny for a short time. I’ve worked with all age groups, but my favorite is three-year-olds—their curiosity and growing independence make this stage so special to me. I am CPR and First Aid certified, have a Master’s in Psychology, and I’m currently working on my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I’m also Montessori certified. In my free time, I enjoy arts and crafts and reading on my Kindle.
