Hi, I’m Julia! I just joined Sittertree. I’m a grad student at Georgia Tech, originally from Virginia, and I have a genuine passion for working with children across all ages and stages. I believe the best childcare is a partnership. I love learning each family’s routines, values, and approach so I can show up as a seamless, trusted extension of your parenting style. I bring years of hands-on experience as a preschool teacher, Fulbright English teaching fellow, camp counselor, and swim instructor. Whether I’m doing tummy time with an infant, setting up a creative activity for a toddler, or helping an older kid wind down with a good book, I know how to meet each child where they are. I’m highly attentive and always fully present, no distractions, just focused and engaged care. I’m CPR certified and Wilderness First Aid certified, so parents can feel confident their little ones are in safe, prepared hands. Outside of childcare, I love animals, being outdoors, and finding interactive ways to make learning fun, which spills right into how I babysit!
