Kayreana

My name is Kay-re-ana (ona), I’m someone who truly cares about the well-being and growth of others. I’ve always had a nurturing personality and a strong sense of responsibility, which naturally led me to working in childcare. I started babysitting for family friends when I was around 15 and 16 years old, caring for children of different ages, including a child with special needs. That experience taught me patience, adaptability, and how important it is to create a safe and supportive environment for every child’s unique needs. Later, I worked at a daycare where I cared for children ages 4–5. My responsibilities included preparing snacks, helping with nap time, organizing play activities, and reading stories. I focused on building trust with the children so they felt safe, comfortable, and supported while their parents were away. I understand how important it is for kids to feel seen, heard, and valued, and I always aim to create a positive and engaging space for them.
