Hello! My name is DaeJah Tanner, and I’m a 20-year-old caregiver who truly enjoys working with children and being part of their growth and development. I currently work part-time as a Certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and plan to return to school to pursue a degree in Occupational Therapy. I am CPR certified and have completed MCPP training, which helps me provide safe, supportive, and attentive care. Over the past seven months, I have gained hands-on experience working with children ages 6–18 in both a Tier 5 private school and an early intervention center. Through this work, I’ve supported children with a wide range of developmental, behavioral, and learning needs. My background in behavioral support helps me stay patient, calm, and encouraging while helping children build confidence and positive routines. I also have personal experience caring for my sibling who is on the autism spectrum, which has given me even more understanding, compassion, and patience when working with children of different abilities. You can expect me to be dependable, attentive, and nurturing. I love creating a positive environment where kids feel safe, supported, and encouraged to learn, play, and be themselves. Whether it’s helping with routines, engaging in creative activities, or simply providing a caring and structured environment, I always aim to make children feel comfortable and valued.
